Based out of Akron, Ohio, TC Kline Racing was founded by T.C. Kline the person in 1985. The company made its racing debut in the Volkswagen Cup Series and quickly made a name for itself by winning race all over the country. The team moved on to success in other race series, including BMW Club Racing, SCCA, IMSA, Firehawk, SPEED World Challenge and Grand Am with drivers like Randy Pobst, Andy Pilgram, Boris Said and Neal Sapp.
The key to their winning ways stemmed from the special talent and ability to set-up and fine tune their car's suspensions-often times beating out much more powerful race cars. By 1999 TC Kline Racing began manufacturing and offering some of the track proven specialty products they had developed for their own race cars. Today TC Kline Racing www.tcklineracing.com/home.htm specializes in custom tuned suspension products for BMW and MINI.
The product portfolio includes full coil-over suspensions with custom tuned dampers, camber and castor plates, shock mounts, sway bars and suspension bushings.
The custom dampers that TC Kline uses are built to order by Koni in Holland and employ specialized race caliber internal valving. The springs are made by Vogtland and use VVS wire-a special steel is used that contains proprietary alloying element that allows the high-tensile spring material to be worked at higher stress levels with no fatigue problems.
Product after product, TC Kline Racing uses only the best materials coupled with race proven experience and technology. VRPerformance is proud to be your exclusive source in Southeast Michigan for TC Kline Racing.
